Dr. Wei Tan is currently a Research Associate in carbon nanotube-based sheet within research group ANAM, at University of Cambridge.
He completed his PhD studies at Queen’s University Belfast, under the supervision of Prof. Brian G. Falzon and Prof Mark Price.
During his PhD project, he developed a composite damage model for predicting behaviour of composite structures under impact and crush loading.
His current research interests lie in the application of composite structures utilising carbon nanotube-based sheet for improving impact damage resistance, anti-icing capability and integrated structural health monitoring in areospace or automobile industries.
